Fall means many things to different people. For some it's a reminder that pumpkins will line the streets, for others it's an indication they need to make a run to the closest pumpkin-spice-latte serving coffee shop. For us it means two things... it's audition season, and it's time for free candy from trick-or-treating!
*WARNING* Never go to a stranger's home without proper parental permission and Covet Dance inspired costume!
So we've decided to share with you one of our tastiest fall recipes yet! We give you...
You will need:
10 Cups of Popped Popcorn
1 Cup Butter (Sweet Cream Salted)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
Harvest Blend M&M Candy
Start with approximately 10 cups of popcorn. Make sure you get out all of the un-popped kernels. You don’t want to bite down on one of those! Once popped salt liberally.
Melt 1 cup of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add Brown Sugar to Melted Butter
Add 1 cup of brown sugar and stir until thoroughly mixed.
Stirring constantly, bring to a boil
Stirring continuously, bring the butter and sugar mixture up to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Add the 2 tsp. of vanilla at the 4 minute mark.
After boiling for 5 minutes, add the 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
Pour the popcorn out onto a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil or a silpat liner.
